Parent Trap’s Elaine Hendrix addresses 18-year age gap with Dennis Quaid in 1998 hit film
The Parent Trap’s Elaine Hendrix’s has opened up about working with Dennis Quaid on the hit 1998 film.
Hendrix, 50, who played Quaid’s on-screen lover Meredith, noted their “tremendous chemistry” despite the 18-year age gap.
“One of the generalized differences between men and women is that boys mature later and girls mature earlier. So I think I was sort of an older 26,” she told Insider in celebration of the film’s 23rd anniversary, saying Quaid was a much “younger” 44. “I think it worked well.”
